Why do people play Let it Ride?

Genuinely curious here. Why do people play Let It Ride? From a purely mathematical standpoint, it’s one of the worst bets you can make in a casino, with a house edge that’s just terrible compared to games like Blackjack or Roulette.

I've tried it a few times, but I can't quite grasp the appeal. The gameplay feels slow, and the chances of actually winning something substantial seem so slim. I understand that some people enjoy the social aspect of it, but even then, it doesn't seem worth the poor odds.

Is it just about the thrill of the big payout, or is there some strategy I’m missing here? And are there really players out there who swear by this game for consistent wins? From my perspective, it just doesn’t seem logical to stick with such a high house edge.

Would love to hear some insight from seasoned Let It Ride players. What keeps you coming back to it?
