Made the switch about 8 months ago after the third affordability check email in a week from my UKGC site. The friction was the deciding factor more than the bonus size. Going to push back on the framing that non-Gamstop is the 'solution'. The UKGC affordability checks are a real annoyance, but they're a downstream symptom of player-protection law that exists for a reason. Walking off the regulated rail also walks off ADR access, deposit refund rights under section 75, and a complaint pathway that has actual teeth. The right answer for most casual players is still a UKGC site, not a Curacao license with a flashy bonus on top.

Honest question for the room: is anyone here actually losing on non-Gamstop sites long term, or is the survivor bias loud? Non-Gamstop median via BTC is 22 minutes (Goldenbet) up to 6 hours on the slower Curacao sites. The speed differential is real but only matters if you're moving 500 pound or more at a time. For 50 pound recreational play it's noise.
