Keno strategy - does anyone actually win big?

So I tried Keno for the first time after hearing about it from a friend. Picked a few random numbers, sat back, and… nothing. After reading more about it seems like the odds are ridiculous, but my friend claims he’s seen some people hit big wins. Is there any strategy to this game, or is it just pure luck? I mean, I get that it’s a game of chance, but does anyone here actually play Keno regularly and come out ahead? Or is it just throwing cash away?

Honestly, it’s pure luck from what I’ve seen. You’re right about the odds; they’re not exactly in our favor. I’ve given it a few goes but never seen a ‘strategy’ that actually works. I think anyone who hits big on Keno just stumbled onto a lucky day!
