The Tuesday Nobody Calendarizes
Payday breathing room's already thinning out and I'm sat here wondering why we give the disasters dates like anniversaries but never mark the steady Tuesdays that carried us between them. March 14th, 2023 — burned that into memory when the account went sideways. But the four ordinary Tuesdays before it? Not a one. Distorts the whole way you read these "strategy" threads, tbh. Like the

Mate that calendar thing's proper spot on — I still know March 14th 2023 like my own postcode, promised Fiona Id stop that day and all. But you're right, the Tuesdays just blur into each other, only notice 'em when the breathing room's gone.
Ngl that breathing room's exactly when I do my worst damage — payday landed this week and instead of feeling safe Im already calculating what GoldenCrown owes me. The steady days dont get memorials because were too busy waiting for the next disaster to prove were still alive, or something

Lol that's exactly it tho — you only remember the Tuesdays that paid, the ones that didn't are just "part of the process"
Tbh I've convinced myself I'm "due" so many times sitting there at 2am with a tissue box and a 0.2 Hole, felt cosmically connected to some comeback that never came
You ever actually track your Tuesday EV or just vibe it

Finally cleared a bill that had been hanging over them and you're right, I'm already waiting for the next one to drop — march 14th's still in my head too, dog house took £1700 that tuesday and I can feel the date coming before the calendar even shows it
*Steady tuesdays just feel like borrowed time, don't they? Like we're not allowed to trust them*

The steady Tuesdays dont need dates, mate—theyre the ones where you cleared the slate and *didn't* tell anyone. March 14th's just the debt you can still feel.
Im in that tight week myself, pennies watching me back. You mark the disasters because the silence after a proper cashout feels like nothing happened. Thats the trick of it.

Nz_kayla "Tuesday Nobody" — that's it, that's the thing. March 14th sitting there like a scar and meanwhile every bloody Tuesday in between just... Evaporates. No story, no post, just you and the screen and the same stake size wondering if this is the one that finally moves the needle or just another Tuesday that doesn't get named.
Payid_naomi's right though yeah? The quiet weeks *do* sting harder. At least when you're chasing you've got a narrative. Tuesday Nobody's got no narrative, just this low-level hum of "still here, still doing this, still not quite winning enough to matter."
And that breathing room thinning out — mate I feel that in my chest. Payday hit last week and I told myself *controlled sessions, Tom, proper bankroll, walk away green* — DragonSlots was good to me, quick withdrawal, felt like proof. But the cushion's already got this gravitational pull. It's not relief, it's just... Delay. More time to convince yourself you're different this time before you prove you're not.
The calendar thing though, that's brilliant. We should start marking the Tuesdays. "March 14th: the disaster. April 4th: the nothing. April 11th: also nothing but at least didn't chase rent."
Do you find the cushion makes it harder? Like having it there is worse than being skint because now there's something to lose?
