Gave one of those new VR casino platforms a spin over the weekend—figured I'd combine my two favorite things: tech and gambling. At first glance, the idea is awesome. Walk into a virtual lobby, sit at a blackjack table, even nod at some awkwardly animated avatars next to you.
But man… the execution still needs work. Laggy controls, glitchy chips, and don't get me started on how the roulette wheel literally floated off the table mid-spin. It felt more like a tech demo than an actual casino. I was using the Quest 2 and a solid connection, so not a hardware issue.
Still, I’ll say this—worth watching. The concept’s got legs once they polish it up. If they can tighten up the physics and maybe hire a few less creepy-looking NPCs, it could really take off. Anyone else tried one lately?
